Tatul

The complex consists of an ancient pagan temple and a medieval fortress. The central and highest place of the rocky peak, holds grave with east-west orientation, vsechen in massive rock carved like a truncated pyramid. On the south side of the magnificent rock is carved a similar tomb, located in the hemispherical recess. Niche is covered with rock-arched stone vault. Leads to the two graves carved into the rocks ceremonial staircase, consisting of eight steps. Tatul is found in a figurine of naked god, man, upright and leaning with one hand on the lyre, with the other hand holding plektron - something like a pen, which is playing. The statuette is dated from the II - III century - the Roman era. They found a coin and the same age. Statue probably depicts Orpheus himself.       

Perperikon

Perperikon is an archaeological complex consisting of a large megalith sanctuary, the holy city and fortress. Supposedly, it was famous in ancient sanctuary of Dionysus the Thracian tribe Satrae whose priestly family were Bessi.

            Alexander tomb

Alexander tomb was discovered in 2001 by the Bulgarian archaeologist Georgi Kitov near the village Aleksandrovo Haskovo.
